Meet the Team
Martin Hambidge
Former retained firefighter Martin Hambidge owns Just Right Autos and has built the company to its current position.
A Witney boy born and bred, Martin began his career at Kernahans in Witney at the age of 13, washing cars. He went on to do a mechanic apprenticeship there and worked for the MG Rover brand before moving on to VW Audi and independent garages.
Martin’s career took an exciting turn when he joined the Oxfordshire fire service as a mechanic in 2005. This gave him wide experience with a variety of vehicles and challenges. He then ran mechanic workshops for fire service professionals.
Then Martin became a retained firefighter at Witney Fire Station, facing many risky situations and serving the community.
After stepping back from the fire service workshops in 2010 to start Just Right Autos, Martin’s commitment to the fire service continued, and he served as a retained firefighter for another two years.
Martin’s vision for Just Right Autos was to service and maintain vehicles with honest and trustworthy mechanics, and that vision continues today, going from strength to strength.
Just Right Autos aims to provide as many high-quality automotive services under one roof as possible. This includes an in-house MOT bay, specialist wheel alignment equipment, tyre machines, and air conditioning equipment.
In his spare time, Martin enjoys walking and spending time at the coast. He is also passionate about all things Volkswagen and owns and builds various classic VWs and camper vans.
Adele Hambidge
Adele is a Director at Just Right Autos. Like her husband Martin, she has a background in the emergency services, having previously worked as a crew member for St John’s Ambulance before joining Just Right Autos.
She now handles all the behind-the-scenes admin, keeps the business running smoothly, and oversees business development, customer service, and communications.
Outside work, Adele and Martin love exploring the UK in their classic T4 VW campervan.
With their dogs, they’ve spent many a night sleeping under the stars. They love travelling up and down the UK.
Ash
Just Right Autos’ Workshop Manager has worked for both main dealers and independent Land Rover specialist garages and is now the main point of contact for Just Right Autos.
As the Workshop Manager, Ash is the main contact between Martin and the workshop and is responsible for keeping the busy garage running to peak efficiency while overseeing the mechanics and keeping everything in order. Ash has been with the company for many years and has worked his way up into this crucial role through years of dedication.
In his spare time, Ash enjoys walking with his dog and a nice pitstop at the pub.
Donine
Just Right Autos service advisor, the newest member of the team, her people skills and dedication have been a significant asset to the team; her friendly smile will put you at ease and take the stress out of worrying about your vehicle,
She has been in the motor trade for a few years now and knows her way around a parts catalogue. In her spare time, she’s a keen baker and makes some very impressive cakes.
Gary
Experienced mechanic Gary has worked for several independent garages, covering all makes of cars. He is an Alfa/Fiat Specialist.
Gary loves to learn and is always studying the latest tech in cars. He’s happy when he is looking at diagnostic faults. With us covering all makes and models, we have the technology and diagnostic equipment to cover 95% of cars on the market.
Gary is also fully MOT trained and is Electric and Hybrid Trained to Level 3.
He enjoys family time and spending time cleaning his pride and joy.
Nick
Nick is a highly skilled mechanic who is trained in MG Rover. Nick has worked for independent garages, gaining experience in all makes and models.
Nick enjoys getting involved in big Mechanical jobs. He is fully MOT-trained, plus electric and hybrid-trained to level 3.
Nick enjoys going away in his camper and spending time with his family and friends.
Dave
MOT tester Dave has a background working for independent garages and main dealerships and is highly skilled in every aspect of MOT testing and legislation.
Dave enjoys his football and can be found at most Oxford United Games.
Adam
Adam came to Just Right Autos straight from school to do his apprenticeship. Having worked through his apprenticeship, Adam is now fully qualified and enjoys getting stuck in.
He enjoys doing clutches, suspension work, and brakes and is looking forward to further training and progressing through the MOT courses.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and working on his own vehicles.
